Bad Beat Jackpots
Qualify for the $100,000 Monster Weekly Freerolls by playing on our Monster Bad Beat Jackpot tables.
All players dealt into a hand that hits a Bad Beat Jackpot will receive two entries into a $100,000 Monster Weekly Freeroll.
As an added bonus, all players that are simultaneously dealt into a hand on any of the jackpot tables of the same game type, stakes, blinds, and seats as a table that hits the Bad Beat Jackpot will also win one entry into the $100,000 Monster Weekly Freeroll of their choice.
For example, if the jackpot is hit on a 10-handed $3/$6 Limit Hold'em table, all players involved in that particular hand will receive two Monster Weekly Freeroll entries. All other players on any of the 10-handed $3/$6 Limit Hold'em jackpot tables who were dealt into a hand when the jackpot was hit will also receive one entry to a $100,000 Monster Weekly Freeroll.
Bad Beat Jackpot Table rules:
- Bad Beat Jackpots will be paid out on the real money Hold'em games available under the 'Monster Jackpot Games' tab.
- Four or more players must be dealt into the hand. Players sitting out do not qualify for the jackpot.
- We will take $0.50 each raked pot ($5.00 pot minimum) as a Bad Beat Jackpot rake.
- 30% ($0.15) of the $0.50 Bad Beat Jackpot rake will be taken to increase the Monster Grand Final Tournament prize pool. The remaining 70% ($0.35) will be added to the Bad Beat Jackpot.
- A jackpot is hit when a player with four 8s or better is beaten.
- The best hands of both the winner and the loser must include their hole cards, and the hand must go to a showdown.
- The hand must be raked and the jackpot contribution collected from the hand in order for it to qualify for a Bad Beat Jackpot.
- If more than two players qualify for the jackpot within one hand, the two highest hands will be considered for the jackpot. The highest hand will be treated as the winning hand (the winner) and the second-highest hand as the bad beat (the loser of the hand).
- In the event that two qualifying jackpot hands are hit at exactly the same time, the hand that started first (based on our system clock) will be awarded the jackpot.
- Players must play their hands independently and cannot tell opponents how to act or reveal their hand to other players. Violations will disqualify the hand from the jackpot.
- When the Bad Beat Jackpot is hit at a table, all players who were dealt into the hand when the jackpot is hit will receive two entries into a $100,000 Monster Weekly Freeroll.
- These entries can be used for any of the $100,000 Monster Weekly Freerolls that are open for registration.
- When the Bad Beat Jackpot is hit, the distribution of the jackpot amount will be determined as follows: 72% of the amount will be distributed amongst the players and 28% will be used to seed the next Bad Beat Jackpot. Of the distributed amount, 50% of the amount will go to the loser of the hand (the bad beat), 25% to the winner, and 25% will be split between the other seated players who actively participated in the hand (any player who was sitting out will not receive a portion of the Bad Beat Jackpot).
